Follow the steps below to grant Trickle access. This will enable your organisation to integrate with Trickle and create a Trickle Channel on MST, enabling greater engagement on posts and MoodSense.

โ Go to admin.teams.microsoft.com and log in using your admin account.
โOpen the Manage Apps section
โ In the menu on the left-hand side, select Teams apps, then Manage apps.

โOpen the Trickle app page
โ Click on the Trickle app to view its full listing in the Teams store.
โGo to the Permissions tab
โ Under the app summary, click on the Permissions tab.
โGrant the required permissions
โ If the Trickle app needs extra permissions, youโll see a warning message in the permissions section.
โ
If you have the right level of admin access, this message will include a button to grant permissions.
Click the button to approve the permissions request.
Once permissions have been granted, the message will update to confirm that admin consent has been given.
โ
At this point, the Trickle app will be ready to use and can be set up in any Microsoft Teams channel.
Why these permissions are needed
Trickle needs permission to read the list of members in the channel where it is installed. This helps confirm that a user has access to the channel and is allowed to see the content shared through Trickle.
This also means that people who donโt have a Trickle account, including guests or other users in your organisation, will still be able to see posts and conversations in the channel through the app.
