Tips for interacting with Trickles

Here are 4 big hitters for getting the most from a Trickle

1) Acknowledge

Always thank people for contributing and acknowledge their interaction or post quickly

2) Be transparent

If you don’t have an answer yet, say so. Equally if there is work going on offline let people know this so they don't think the topic has been forgotten.

3) Encourage

Keep the conversation open, just one response can spark more input. Remember you can comment on other Champions posts (anonymously if you wish) to set the tone and encourage honest sharing and problem solving.

4) Close the loop

Make sure updates are shared when progress is made by clicking ‘Act Now’ and ‘Complete’. This will also ensure any solutions you've been part of are stored in the 'Completed' area of Trickle.

Below are some example acknowledgment responses 👇

  • “Thanks for raising this; we’re looking into it and will share an update shortly.”

  • “This is a great point. Has anyone else experienced something similar?”

  • “Thanks for your suggestion, we’ve passed this to [team/leader] and will update you when we know more.”

  • “Really appreciate you sharing this, it’s sparked a useful conversation in the team.”
