What is a Flare?

A Flare is a quick and easy way for you and your people to access private one-to-one support or seek guidance on any issue.

Flare's are raised anonymously unless the person raising a Flare chooses to show their identity and they are never shown on the main activity feed, they always remain private.

Learn more about what Flares look like from a user perspective here.

Choosing your Flare Responders

When someone raises a confidential 1-2-1 Flare, they are given the option to pick from a list of Flare Responders from your organisation. We recommend you have a number of Flare Responders across departments/teams to enable Users to raise a Flare anonymously with confidence. Flare Responders are people chosen to respond to Flares and signpost individuals to support services or resources. They may be people within your organisation who have, for example, an interest in Wellbeing, have Mental Health First Aid training, or are knowledgeable regarding your workplace wellbeing policies and procedures. We recommend that your Flare Responders have access to relevant signposting resources and/or training to ensure that they feel supported and confident to manage and support Flares raised.

Customise the support you give your people

If at any point you'd like to add or edit customised guidance to your Flare's you can do this in the 'Org settings' area of Trickle. πŸ‘‡
